Part 2: First View of Sipalay.. Summer of 2012

Happy at the backseat.. It’s not everyday that I get to go on a road trip as much as have someone else driving us through the whole journey.  I have been the sole driver in our family for almost a decade after my Dad passed away. It was totally relaxing and I get to enjoy the nice view  as we passed by Sugarcane plantations.  Bacolod City, specifically Negros Occidental Philippines is known as the SUGAR capital of the country.

After almost 5 hours of travel we finally arrived at Nataasan, Beach Resort in Punta Ballo, Brgy IV, Sipalay City. Unfortunately, the resort was already fully booked so we headed down to the other Resorts at the stretch of the white sand beach. We were able to get a room at Robinson Cruse.

After we booked a room, me and my friends posed at the counter of the Resort then headed back to the City (about 20 mins drive) to grab some lunch.. We asked the locals on where’s the best place to have lunch and we’re pointed towards “La Veranda”

After the sumptuous meal, we went back the resort.  Time to go island hopping and some swimming!
